Jaguar Eyewear Lens Driven Sunwear Collection Introduces 2016 Collection
Elmont, N.Y. - Eastern States Eyewear has announced the release of its 2016 Jaguar Sunglass collection with 17 new styles, twelve of which are metal, five of which are plastic. The collection will offer a wide range of premium lens options including Polarized, Blue Blocker, Mirror, Nano lenses with AR coatings. All protect against lateral glare and provide for clearer, crisper optics.
Of note, the selection mirror lenses features a wider range of colors than ever before. Red, ice blue, midnight blue, green and silver comprise this highly fashionable arrangement. These lenses are featured both in a new, lightweight and flexible stainless steel design in addition to several acetate styles.
The styles sport masculine shapes mixing in classic and modern fashion tastes. Nearly all have an easy to RX construction with no greater than a base six curve. Design inspiration is often derived from that of the world class automobiles. Examples include temple detailing mimicking the automobiles’ grill or the leather upholstery of the interior. Also of note are flexible carbon fiber temples that recall the finishing of the cars’ sideview mirrors. Color accents are modern and seen throughout the brand’s designs. All styles feature the Jaguar “leaping cat” logo lightly engraved upon its lenses. In summary, each style portrays the feel of sport and luxury that defines the Jaguar brand.
“This is our largest Jaguar sunwear release to date,” explained ESE Managing Director Jason Shyer. “With our recent success of offering such a wide variety of premium lenses it was a natural evolution to grow the width and breadth of what we offer in the brand.”
As with all Jaguar frames these styles are produced by the German based Ferdinand Menrad GMBH.
